Why KISA

HISTORY

January1986: Jointly founded by patent attorneys Saburo Kimura and Soji Sasaki under the name “Kimura Sasaki & Partners.”
January2003: The ownership rights of our firm were transferred from the founders to Noboru Omura and Hisao Kobayashi, and its business operations were continued under the new partnership.
May2005: The firm name was changed to “KISA Patent & Trademark Firm.”
January2009: Noboru Omura was appointed an Advisor, and Patent Attorney Hisao Kobayashi was appointed a Representative & Senior Partner.
November2013: Changed location to the Toranomon Twin Building (Toranomon 2-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo).
January2014: Hisao Kobayashi was appointed an Advisor, and Patent Attorney Kiyoshi Ajima was appointed a Representative & Senior Partner.
January2020: Kiyoshi Ajima was appointed an Advisor, and Patent Attorney Kentaro Yokoi was appointed a Representative & Senior Partner.
